   • Sole backend engineer for UPI Circle, shipping both fully and partially delegated payments. Finished first among 21 participating apps, the only one to build both modes, and earned a spot in NPCI’s six-app showcase at GFF 2024.
   • Built webhook-driven payment-status processing and notifications, keeping transaction records in sync across 100K daily UPI transactions.
   • Built business-rule engines for loan and credit-card eligibility on Experian bureau reports, supporting issuance of 25K credit cards.
   • Automated bill processing with AWS Textract, PDFBox and LLM-based extraction and validation, auto-clearing 80% of bills without manual review.
   • Built rewards accrual and redemption for card and UPI transactions through external bank APIs, disbursing ₹50M+ and redeeming ₹10M+ in rewards monthly.
   Platform

   • Built authentication and access control for the app and partner dashboard with Redis, JWTs and RSA-signed tokens; scopes and partner attributes restrict each partner to its permitted APIs and data.
   • Re-architected the home-screen API to fan out to 8 services in parallel with partial-failure isolation, cutting p95 from 500ms to 75ms at 42K requests/hour.
   • Optimised bulk credit-bureau ingestion with streaming parsing, JDBC batching and cached sequence allocation, turning 70M inserts into 25K batches and ending shared-database CPU spikes.
